Danny's Pizza: Your Ultimate Pizza Destination in Murrells Inlet

My husband grew up in New Jersey and has now found his favorite pizza in Myrtle Beach. Danny's has amazing pizza and subs! See for yourself!

Danny’s is the best pizza I’ve had! Great vibes in there. No buttoned up shirt and tie stuff here! Wear your jersey, show up dirty from the game, they love it here! Especially love Shawn because he’s a big Sixers fan!

New York style pizza has a thin crust, fresh cheese and when you visit the restaurant a guy with a thick accent, who seemingly will fight everyone and be your best friend! Danny’s does NOT let you down. We ordered on the phone but when I opened the door to pick up - I wished we had come there first. This place is incredible- the staff are so authentic and fun! They make more than pizza, there’s Stromboli, Calzones everything that makes your mouth water and your belly full. Being on vacation- I only wish we stayed longer to get more!

Danny’s Pizza is our go to for office lunches. The subs are the best on the beach, and the meatball sub is my personal favorite. The sesame bread adds just the right touch. Their pizza is excellent too!

It’s the night before New Year’s Eve & this was my first time in Danny’s! The line was literally out the door! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying NY pizza in my life & this is exactly what it tastes like!!!! Authentic NY pizza!!!!! My family & I REALLY enjoyed our food! Danny was extremely professional, friendly & even knew his returning customers by name!!! I loved the atmosphere, the pizza & the overall experience! I WILL be back! I’m here from Florida!

I can’t say enough good things about Danny’s Authentic NY Pizza. Oh Halloween night - one of their busiest days of the year — they went above and beyond to help me out. I needed several pizzas to bring to the hospital for the amazing nurses taking care of my mom, and even thou they were swamped with orders, the team make sure everything was ready on time, hot, perfect. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine care turned what could’ve been a stressful evening into something really special. The nurses were so grateful, and that meant the world to me.

We have a tradition of getting pizza no matter where we go. We were recommended to Danny's by friends who are locals and love this place. It did not disappoint. My husband asked if they imported the water from New York because apparently that is what gives the dough in NY a special flavor, but we were told they don't, that they get asked that a lot, and that Danny just makes his dough different every day depending on the weather (which, of course, my husband agreed is how it should be done). The only complaint we (my husband) had was the very tiny little tip of the (pepperoni) pizza was floppy and could have used another 10 seconds in the oven, but he also said that was so minute and this was the best thing we had eaten while visiting South Carolina (and we ate at a lot of good places while there). We also had the garlic knots, I like more butter on mine that they put, but the sauce it came with made up for this and was delicious, and the desserts, while not made in house, were also very good. We will definitely be back on our next trip to get more pizza and try some other things they offer.

I am not Italian, nor am I from NY. What I AM is very pleased with my delivery order last night. We had chicken parm, Alfredo and a side order of meatballs. Side salad was fresh and crisp, garlic knots were fresh and garlicky. All was delicious and Danny's NY pizza is on my reorder list!
